I understand I may suffer bumps, bruises, and even potentially broken bones while participating in the sport of Martial Arts.

 

I hereby RELEASE AND DISCHARGE BARNYARD MMA LLC and all related parties, other participants of Martial Arts, volunteers, company officers, directors, elected officials, agents employees, and owners of equipment and the land and buildings used for Martial Arts activities ( Hereinafter collectively referred to as "Released Parties"), from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action that I or my representatives may hereafter have for injuries arising out of my participation in Martial Arta activities, including, but not limited to, losses CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

 

I understand and acknowledge that Martial Arts activities have dangers that no amount of care, caution, instruction or expertise can eliminate, and I EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR OTHER FORMS OF DAMAGES SUSTAINED WHILE PARTICIPATING IN MARTIAL ARTS ACTIVITIES WITHER OR NOT CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASE PARTIES

 

I further agree that I WILL NOT SUE OR OTHERWISE MAKE A CLAIM against the Released Parties for damages or other losses sustained as a result of my participation in Martial Arts activities

 

I will take full responsibility for and hold harmless Released Parties for any injury that I may suffer or inflict upon others as a result of my engaging in Martial Arts activities.

 

I agree that if I operate any equipment while participating in Martial Arts, I will do so in a

reasonable and safe manner so as not to endanger the lives of persons or property of any

individual.

 

I further represent that this Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk shall continue in full

force and effect for so long as I engage in Martial Arts activities which are in any way connected to or with the Released Parties

 

I further represent that I am at least 18 years of age

 

I waive and release all legal rights that may accrue to me, to my minor child or to the minor child I am (ADULT) legal guardian, or I may suffer while engaging in Martial Arts activities.

SESSION QUALIFICATIONS

Adults

Classes consist of 2 hours. The first hour learning the moves of the day and drilling, the second hour sparring and applying your teachings through practical practice.

Jiu Jitsu

Depending on lesson plans, practice may be GI or no-GI. This is announced in the prior class lesson.

      • What to bring: Slip on shoes, GI
      • Recommended attire: Rash guard and spats under GI or shorts. (Shorts and a t-shirt will work)
      • Requirements: GI*
      • Optional: Mouth piece

Boxing / Kick Boxing

Classes consist of 2 hours. The first hour learning the moves of the day and drilling, the second hour sparring and applying your teachings through practical practice.

      • What to bring: Slip on shoes, mouthpiece (required for sparring)
      • Recommended attire: Shorts
      • Requirements: Boxing gloves*, shin pads*, jump rope

Functional Fitness

Workouts run about 1 hour consisting of up to a 3 parts workout.

Open mat

Classes are open to all adult students. This is a time for drilling, sparring and general practice.

Kids 

Classes are 1 hour consisting of drilling techniques and applied practice.

The gym can provide loaners for class. Call ahead to ensure a loaner GI is available for the evening.
